Who is Rocky Mountain Iron Logs?
We were founded in 2012 to serve a need in the high-end fire pit and fireplace market for a high quality, steel log product that the homeowner could easily install by themselves. We found other iron log products handcrafted by metal artisans, like ours, but they were both super expensive and required costly shipping and installation. We said, “there’s got to be a better way” and we were born. Contractors and Landscape Architects asked us to build a product with a "custom look without the crazy high price". We've achieved this, building our sets one-at-a-time to precisely fit our customers fire feature
We will never build thousands of our log sets - we enjoy that one-at-a-time interaction with our customers. Those that sit around a fire pit or fireplace with our logs rave about the experience. It is always a joy to hear from our customers!
We’ve had offers to move manufacturing to China or other countries with lower costs than the USA. We would rather create jobs in the United States along with maintaining the high quality of our products. We believe that we can still build stuff in the U.S.A. and are proud to do so.
What are Iron Logs?
What if you could achieve the same look and feel of the high end ski resorts, like Vail, Aspen, Lake Tahoe, etc, in your own back yard?
That's exactly what we've created for your residential fire pit or outdoor fireplace.
Tired of lava rock fire pits with no character? How about the cheap ceramic logs (like the kind that came with your fireplace) that are boring and don't radiate the heat like a real campfire? Our metal logs are not only one-of-a-kind but will be the envy of your friends and neighbors. Our Iron Logs are not mass produced in factories, they are meticulously created one log at a time by our metal artisans for a look that will be yours and yours alone.
Our sculpted log sets are fueled by natural or propane gas and built from heavy duty steel. All you have to do is turn on the gas and ignite. Unlike ceramic logs, our Iron Logs release heat to the surrounding area, utilizing efficiency to further enjoy the log's virtues. Imagine this -- with our Artistic Steel Logs, you can use your fire pit or outdoor fireplace year round, regardless of your climate!
6 Reasons Why You Need Iron Logs:
Radiate Heat. Rocky Mountain Iron Logs heat the area around your fire pit or outdoor fireplace. Ceramic logs or lava rock does not radiate any heat. You're essentially heating the sky ...
Unbeleivable Visuals. Achieve a high-end ski-resort look in your own backyard.
Last Longer. Our Iron Logs last many times longer than any Ceramic Logs. Many Fireplace retailers are no longer recommending or even selling Ceramic Logs for outdoor applications because they break down so quickly.
Use your fire pit more. Rocky Mountain Iron Logs allows your outdoor fire pit or fireplace to be used year round.
Enjoyment. Why not have and enjoy artistic creativity, day or night ?
Block the Wind. If you've ever sat around a fire pit on a windy night, you know that not only is it dangerous but with flames getting tossed around, it's not very fun. Our logs block the wind and keep the flames contained within.
6 Reasons to buy Rocky Mountain Iron Logs:
Our artistic iron logs are more than just logs, they're original art -- mesmerizing day or night.
Easily installation in 20 minutes or less -- custom sized to your fire pit or outdoor fireplace.
